Plastic and Reinforced Nylon Vessels

Knight Corporation proudly presents a new generation of filter vessels. Available with our exclusive 10" and 20" bowls in clear styrenes (SAN), blue talc reinforced polypropylene, pure polypropylene and reinforced nylon these new units offer an excellent lightweight alternative to costly metal vessels. The vessel's economical price enables you to cost-effectively install a duplex system for uninterrupted flow rates.

Available in Filter Bag or Cartridge Style, All Units Feature:
  • Both 1 1/2" and 1" NPT connections are included in every filter head (Also available with British pipe threads )
  • Head and sump threads incorporate our exclusive positive stop feature to prevent over tightening.
  • O-ring is securely held in a groove on top of the bowl so that it stays in place during cartridge or bag replacement.
  • Mounting bosses in head for available bracket.
  • FDA grade material for potable water.
  • Full testing of industry standards of the Water Quality Association for burst pressure, water tightness and fatigue resistance.
  • Custom colors available by special order.
  • Standard cartridge size; 4 1/2" O.D. X 1" I.D. X 9 3/4" full length, and 20" double length are available from Knight Corporation
  • Standard 4" bags are available from Knight Corporation.
Talc Polypropylene And Clear Styrenes Bag And Cartridge Vessels

The Talc bag unit comes complete with pressure gauge, basket support, polypropylene drain plugs, wrench and ball valve to drain sump. Clear bag unit comes complete with pressure gauge, basket support, polypropylene plugs and wrench. Drain not provided with clear bowls, do not tap. Both the Talc and Clear Cartridge units are available with or without pressure relief button.

In addition to residential applications, these units are ideal in cold water applications up to 125 psi where polypropylene is suitable including:

Pure Polypropylene Bag And Cartridge Vessels

Knight Corporation's pure polypropylene vessels are constructed entirely of virgin polypropylene without color, adders, filters, reinforcements or lubricants. They are ideal for all industries where the filtered liquid must remain totally free of contamination.

A non-lubricated silicone O-ring is standard and the contact surfaces are smooth to prevent bacteria and dirt buildup. Bag units come complete with a pressure gauge, drain plugs, basket support, ball valve and wrench. Cartridge units are available with or without pressure relief button. These units are an inexpensive alternative to Teflon or fluoropolymer housings and ensure pure, cost-effective filtration for a variety of applications including:

  • Deionized Water
  • Laboratory Instrumentation and Equipment
  • Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Solvents
  • Electronic Solutions and Chemicals
  • Post-filter For Reverse Osmosis or Ultrafiltration
Reinforced Nylon Bag And Cartridge Vessels

Knight Corporation's reinforced nylon bag and cartridge vessels are the economical solution to your hot water and high pressure needs. They have a maximum operating temperature of 200° F and a maximum operating pressure of 200 psi. These units are the perfect lightweight alternative to costly metal vessels.

Both the bag and cartridge style units feature a high strength glass reinforced head and bowl. The bag unit comes standard with pressure gauge, basket support, ball valve, wrench and drain plugs. A pressure relief button is not available on either the bag or on the cartridge reinforced nylon vessel.
